MMX arrived!

I can't post any pics because I didn't get home with enough light to take decent ones, but my very, very marvelous mail from

[info]bluebellrock</lj> arrived today!
Packed tightly into a compact mail bag were an assortment of perfectly wrapped and labelled goodies, tied with ribbon. So beautiful I almost didn't want to open them...
Of course I did though! Inside were:
something to wear: cutest little Japanese box with 3 supercool buttons (my favourite says I'm a 'secret agent') and a star-shaped clip.
something handmade: 2 postcards with images from I'm guessing vintage kids reference books? Plus a sweet bead & leather necklace which is just the right length.
recipe: for 'Potato Anna'  (sounds yum-o!) & 'Best Strawberry Smoothie Ever'. How did you know that I am trying to avoid cows milk these days and have taken to drinking soy? And the boygirlparty recipe cards are the best!
something from my interests: some amazing fabric with ladies portraits - I've never seen anything like it before.
mix cd: with a lot of music that I haven't really heard before. I've only listened to the first 4 tracks so far, & it's great! I plan to get into bed with the headphones & read your liner notes, very soon...
something else: a tea towel with 'des chats par Steinlen'. I am loving the cats.
and as a bonus: a stack of the most amazing, cute and funny stationary ever. Looking through all the sheets with matching envelopes made me laugh. I don't think I want to use any of them - they're too special! And a pack of blackcurrant and apple tea (think I'll take these to work tomorrow). As well as a note on a 'Special Delivery' notecard. Is that a pack of tampons the business man is delivering?

I will try to update with some photos when I get the chance.
Thanks so much Phillipa, this has been the best MM ever (and certainly worth the wait) !

Some of the things included in my package:
loot!

& just some of the cool stationary!

Thank God it arrived on your stoop at last! I'm so glad the stationery made you smile. My sisters and I have all collected and swapped for years (even though we're 'too old' for it now), hence the hilarious variety. Am keen to hear what you think of the music. It's a mixed bag for sure. I'm still loving your CDs.

I think 'Kotex' was another way of saying "sanitary napkins" once upon a time - before they ever manufactured tampons. But same diff, yeah. Yep, that's one 'special delivery' all right!

I was wondering how you'd accumulated such a range of stationary. And I so love stationary :) In fact *everything* made me smile - it was like my birthday or Christmas!
I didn't get past the 2nd track when I attempted to listen to the CD again last night - it was too late for me. But I am very much liking what I've heard so far. Quite laid back, which is what I'm generally attracted to.

Yeah, it was like Christmas when I opened yours too. Mum was over and I had to show her *everything*. It was actually a nice bonding experience for us, so thank you for that too. ;)
